Who is the terrorist?

Definition of terrorism:Terrorism in the modern sense is violence or other harmful acts committed (or threatened) against civilians for political or other ideological goals. Most definitions of terrorism include only those acts which are intended to create fear or "terror", are perpetrated for an ideological goal ...

Is there something amusing about Americans accusing others of "terrorism" ?

I'm not sure whether to hold the colloquy in the comments or to start another blog post as a response.

I stipulate that there are nut-sites galore on the Internet where people advocate all sorts of wacky political and sexual positions. How much does it reflect on actual U.S. citizens? How many of them are influenced by these "fringe" sources?

I don't pretend to know. But I drive on American roads every day and I know that it only takes one woman putting on her makeup in the mirror to cause a major pile up.

Who is driving the American dialog? How important are these Likudnik voices? Does anyone take them seriously?

I need the answer by C.O.B. today or you're fired!

:P

Well Servant, I have the reference to all these bomb-calls: NYT, Guardian, WSJ, ... not quite nut-sites in common opinion.

(these are well respected, expensively paied nutcases though)

But to answer oen of your Q's
Who is driving the American dialog? How important are these Likudnik voices? Does anyone take them seriously?

It is not about "people" taking them serious. They are holding the Congress! They are the supporters of Hillary Clinton! They are those who go against Leahy's opposition to installing a torture-loving attorney general!

These nutcase likudniks are what we call the "cup that's warmer than the soup." I doubt if they evern care about the interests of Israelis. They are wealthy, and they pay your politician's way into the office. And employ a large number of people in their factories of various kind.

We have yet to admit that Hiroshima and Nagasaki fit the definition, let alone the firebombings of Germany and Japan. It is, unfortunately, an American tradition.
